According to Sky Sports, Chelsea midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah is a summer transfer target for Watford.Following a disappointing season at Stamford Bridge where he made just 15 appearances in all competitions for the Premier League champions – with the majority of those outings coming from the substitutes’ bench – the 22-year-old could look to move on for regular first team football in the coming weeks.Sky Sports say that the Blues want to extend Chalobah’s current deal – which has just one year remaining on it – to avoid losing him for nothing in the future, but the Hornets are keen to sign the England Under-21 international on a permanent deal.Chalobah was an impressive performer for his country as the young Three Lions reached the semi-finals of the European Under-21 Championships this summer, and he could be in contention for a spot in Gareth Southgate’s senior squad if he can impress next season.Chelsea supporters were quick to have their say on the rumour via social media, and the majority would certainly be disappointed if the club let yet another youth product leave.Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction…
